The Uroboros festival will be ‘officially’ opened on Wednesday, October 5th, in the outdoor premises of the DOX Center for Contemporary Art – join us for campfire conversations, drinks, snacks and a very short ssssspeech by the curators. The nocturnal opening starts at 9 pm but you can come earlier to experience the Commander theater play and visit the Hybrid Condition exhibition organised as part of the Algorithmic Resistance loop.

Join us and feel free to bring your own speeches, your friends and also any extra snacks & drinks that you would like to share with others around the fire. No registration is needed for the opening event. There will be signposts navigating to the outdoor campfire space located within the DOX courtyard. The outdoor festival opening is very much dog-friendly, same as the rest of the festival program happening on the following days, in the premises of Kampus Hybernská and Kasárna Karlín. The exhibition and theater events in the DOX Center are human-access only, mostly for security reasons. We propose the issue of more-than-human access to human-driven cultural venues and products as a possible conversation topic for the campfire session.
