Awe, Control, Dopamine, FOMO, Intuition, Nausea – an ABC of emotional terms More and more AI-based tools are included in creative practices. Recently, text2image tools like DALLE-2 have revolutionized how we create imagery. These tools come with their own interfaces and proposed workflows. How is it actually to work with these systems on a daily basis? How does this particular human-AI collaboration feel like? Between surprise and tight control, what emotions do we face when working with these tools? This glossary is a crowd-sourced repository of emotional observations when co-creating with AI.
The festival audience can participate in this floating event by contributing with their personal experience via online questionnaire, which will be accessible during the 4 days of the festival.

Alexa Steinbrück
Alexa Steinbrück is a software developer and artist interested in language and computation. She has been running a lab for artificial intelligence & robotics at University of Art and Design Burg Giebichenstein in Germany during the last 2,5 years. She is researching and teaching creative AI practices and demystifying AI with aimyths.org and betterimagesofai.org. She's the co-host of "towards co-creation" podcast where she speaks with creatives on how they integrate machine learning in their creative practices.
